Hey there!

Thanks for taking the time to come and find out a little bit about me.

I’m Deb, and I’m a product, floral and landscape photographer from Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia.

I’ve had a desire to create for as long as I can remember. I studied art and photography in high school experimenting with different concepts and mediums.  I found my artistic voice through the use of layering and textures to communicate the story behind my art and images.

My travels to Europe, America & Asia in my twenties opened my eyes to travel, architecture & interior design photography. Following my last overseas adventure I completed a Diploma in Interior design so that I could better understand the process of interior design and have loved experimenting with the relationship between interiors and photography, and how to best convey the story of a space through my lens.

After living in Newcastle, New South Wales for most of my life, I made a decision to seek out some creative inspiration and I moved to Tasmania. Embracing the ease and accessibility of Tasmania’s incredibly diverse landscape, my passion for landscape photography was reignited, and my desire to write was realised. After three blissful years in Tasmania – and craving the hustle and bustle of big city life, warm weather and beachside living – my time in Tasmania would come to an end, and I moved back to New South Wales.

Photography and writing bring me great joy, fulfilment, inspiration and purpose and I made the decision in early 2021 to pursue my creative passions and launched my own photography business.

The origins of my photography journey are heavily influenced and continue to be heavily influenced by the natural landscape and it’s textures.   My prints consist of both the floral and natural world and I enjoy exploring the various ways in which both genres can be considered, composed, captured and communicated.

I provide product photography services working with and capturing brands with sustainable business practices and eco-friendly product offerings.  Sustainability is incredibly important to me on both a personal and professional level, and I  continue to do my utmost to minimise my photography businesses ecological footprint.

I would love to work with you. To book any product photography, or floral or landscape photography commissions, just head over to the contact page and I’ll get back in touch with you.  I look forward to chatting with you to find out how we can work together.
